EEG carried out the Energy, Water and Carbon Audit for the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire

The Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire epitomizes refined luxury nestled within the serene English countryside. Set amidst 500 acres of picturesque landscape, this historic Georgian manor seamlessly combines timeless elegance with contemporary sophistication. 

The property has a total built-up area of 18,000m2, offering a diverse range of accommodations including 112 guestrooms and 22 suites. In addition, a key characteristic of the hotel is its expansive fitness center and SPA located in an 18th-century stable comprising an indoor pool and a kid water park.

The hotel prioritizes sustainability and conservation through a variety of initiatives such as: 

  • Orchard- 200 fruit trees planted to keep the use of local produce on-site
  • EV Charging Points - two electric car charging points on-site 
  • Grass cuttings and tree chippings from the grounds are used as compost for Hotel flower beds
  • All glass bottles, cardboard, and paper are recycled
  • Bio-degradable covers used in laundry services
  • 2 x High-efficiency CHP (Combined Heat and Power) plants.
  • Energy efficiency lighting and chilled water system. 

Aligned with the luxury hospitality company's environmental goals, EEG conducted an ASHRAE Level 2 energy audit, a water audit, and a zero-carbon transition plan. The project was successfully completed with the development of a road map of 21 Energy Efficiency Measures and 4 Water Conservation Measures, reinforcing the hotel's unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship.
